Subsea Global Solutions (SGS) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a new agreement with Zeaborn Ship Management(S) Pte. Ltd., the Singapore arm of the leading German 3rd party ship management company Zeaborn Group, to provide underwater hull maintenance and repair services for their dry bulk fleet managed out of Singapore. Both companies are actively discussing the option of extending the same arrangement to Zeaborn’s Hamburg operations to maximize the benefits for their clients.

Ninad Sharad Mhatre – Deputy Managing Director at Zeaborn’s Singapore office said; “While the Zeaborn brand is are latively new one, senior staff at both Zeaborn and SGS have been cooperating with each other for a long time under different entities. Thus, we know how SGS can add value to our operations at a global scale, which in turn can be passed onto our clients directly under this agreement.”

Mr Vijay Sharma – VP Fleet Management at Zeaborn Singapore added; “Our fleet has been growing steadily and as a prudent Ship Manager we have to continuously align ourselves with the right partners to ensure we deliver on our targets related to de-carbonization and protection of the environment.  As such, it was a natural choice for us to streamline all our underwater works with SGS to receive the best environmentally friendly service possible at the most competitive terms.”

SGS Managing Director, Asia-Pacific Region, Capt. Satnam Kumar commented; “At SGS, we know how to support the 3rdparty managed fleets very well, as we are fortunate to have several executives in the team who have served in large ship management companies before. This helps the clients as we can empathize with them easier and provide tailored solutions for their needs. We look forward to supporting Zeaborn Singapore and solidifying our relationship with them.”
