Employee Spotlight: Stephanie Montano

At Subsea Global Solutions, our people are the driving force behind the relationships we build and the service we provide worldwide. This month, we’re highlighting Stephanie Montano, Global Account Manager, Cruise, whose career in the maritime industry has been shaped by adaptability, customer service, and a commitment to helping clients operate safely, efficiently, and with confidence around the world.

Stephanie began her maritime career in 2008 with Muldoon Marine Services, a commercial diving and non-destructive testing company. Starting as the owner’s assistant, she quickly took on a wide range of responsibilities and grew into the role of Equipment and Maintenance Operations Manager.

After Subsea Global Solutions acquired Muldoon Marine Services in 2018, Stephanie transitioned to the West Coast office as Operations Maintenance Manager, overseeing local maintenance service inquiries while also supporting global requests utilizing trusted partners worldwide.

During this time, Stephanie also became closely involved in environmental compliance initiatives, including developing New Zealand and Australia Biofouling Management Plans (BFMPs) for vessel owners and operators navigating increasingly complex regulations and supporting them with practical proactive compliance planning and maintenance strategies.

With more than 15 years of experience in the underwater services industry, Stephanie brings a strong operational background and a customer-focused approach to her current role as Global Account Manager, Cruise. Over the past three years, she has become a trusted resource for cruise clients worldwide and currently works closely with cruise brands to support proactive biofouling management with annual underwater maintenance planning designed to support fuel efficiency, vessel performance, and operational readiness. While also continuing her efforts with assisting vessels with smooth entries into key regions including New Zealand, Australia California, and now Brazil.  

While much of Stephanie’s knowledge comes from hands-on industry experience, she has also invested in her own professional growth through some Toastmasters classes, account management courses, and self-development programs.

Her journey from a small diving company to managing global cruise accounts reflects the dedication, versatility, and industry knowledge that help drive Subsea Global Solutions forward every day.
