Matt Barker has over 14 years of experience with Subsea Global Solutions, progressing through roles as a diver, supervisor, project manager, and now HSE Manager. He began his career as a commercial diver and advanced into supporting complex underwater repair and maintenance projects across the cruise, cargo, and offshore sectors worldwide.

In his current role, Matt oversees health, safety, and environmental across global operations, supporting teams through audits, incident management, emergency planning, and safe work procedure development. He plays a key role in strengthening safety culture, standardizing practices, and supporting compliance with industry standards.

He also supports the development of training programs and safe work practices to improve consistency and safety performance across regions.

Matt is based in Tampa, Florida, and supports Subsea Global Solutions operations worldwide.
