Manuella has over 37 years of experience in the Maritime and Shipping business. She started her career on the sales customer desk within Royal Nedlloyd Group in her hometown Antwerp. After 2 years Manuella moved to Paris to support the Nedlloyd Business Management and was commercially responsible for 12 offices in France.

After 8 years she returned back to Antwerp to start a new position as Sales Manager within OT Africa Line. She was responsible for the import and export of cargo between Europe and West Africa. Extensive traveling between both continents gave her an excellent knowledge of the different industries and building up strong relationships.

NileDutch Africa Lines persuaded her finally to start position as Commercial Trade Manager for West Africa as she was known in the field as having her ‘feet on the street’ and leading other salespeople to improve their commercial and organizational skills within the organization. After a few years, she got promoted to Commercial Director for Europe/West Africa & USA as well as assuming a senior GM role in steering both Nile Dutch offices in Antwerp and Le Havre. She needed to make sure that deadlines, budgets/P&L are met and work is up to expectations.

SRN GROUP (now Subsea Global Solutions Belgium) was founded in 2013 by Pierre Klein, and Manuella joined her husband Pierre in 2016 to support further expansion and drive the business to the next level.

If not being at work Manuella likes to run ( 3 x week) and go hiking and biking in nature.
