Juan Carlos brings over 23 years of experience in the marine and ports industry and has held senior management roles for over 15 years within the Marine Services Industry.

He has studied Marine Engineering at Massachusetts Maritime Academy and then upon graduating went on to hold various positions at Wartsila NA.  He began his career in field service as a technician/engineer, for 7 years he worked aboard all different types of vessels, rigs and power plants then moving into the office holding various management roles before finishing his career there. His last 5 years being General Manager, Projects and Contract Management for North America and at the same time being branch manager for Long Beach and Seattle offices.  He then went on to run the business at RPG (A Louisiana Caterpillar company) for 1 year before agreeing to join ABB Marine and Ports where he spent 9 years.   He held various management roles both regional and global, finishing his last 5 years as VP Service Sales and BD for the Americas. At the same time, he was Local Business Manager for Central America and Caribbean as well as LATAM north.

Juan Carlos loves to travel, go boating and enjoys all sports.  He resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida together with his 2 daughters.
