Strong growth leads to internal promotions and recruitment of new senior talent at SGS
Rising to the challenges of the last few years, Subsea Global Solutions (SGS) has been busy above and below the waves.
In order to meet our valued clients' growing needs, we have recently expanded our geographic homeports to include Europe, as well as our technical ROV capabilities and diving capacities.
This growth has resulted with some internal and external senior appointments in US and Europe to support our truly global services and new team members coming aboard.
Uwe Aschemeier is appointed to the position of “Head of Welding Services”. As the industry-leading wet welding authority, Uwe will oversee our global diver technicians' professional development and capability as well as operationalizing our wet welding and top side capability worldwide.
Kelley Williamson is promoted to critical role of “Technical Services Director”. A true SGS veteran, he will lead the in-house technical training, support large repair projects, and drive the company’s overall technical services agenda globally.
Zac Bowland, is promoted to Director of HSE & Training. He will combine his unique experiences in commercial diving, naval aviation, and expeditionary climate change, to raise our already high safety standards.
Juan Carlos Perez joins from ABB as VP / General Manager, for the US East Coast & Caribbean operations hub in Miami, leveraging his extensive leading manufacturer experience to deliver OEM approved in-water servicing capability.
Jonathan Baker joins as Business Development & Marketing Director, applying his mix of ship management, offshore operations, and marine insurance skills to support the European and global teams as well as leading the marketing & communication function at SGS.
